Insanity Max 30 Test Group Diary Day 1-3

I have decided to do a diary of my experience with Insanity Max 30 test group! I did this with my journey through Chalean Extreme and the original Insanity, and I had excellent feed back from people online! I hope that this diary of my experience with Insanity Max 30 will inspire others to do this program and chance their lives!

I should pre-face all of this with – I used to be 210 lbs… 2 years ago. I have been on a fitness journey for 2.5 years now and fitness is just a way of life for me. Fitness and Clean eating are just how I have decided to live! It makes me feel good and look good as well. I am also now an NPC Bikini Competitor. I did two shows this summer and have fallen in love with the sport! I have decided to start now to prepare for my shows in the Spring. I am very motivated and very excited. I have taken these last 4 months to put on some more muscle! After my competition and not having another competition to work for, I got way of track in my eating. I am working with an amazing coach and she gave me an amazing plan, but my issue is consistency and my cheat meals were getting to be to big and to frequent for my liking. I had put on 10 LBS since my competition. I worked so hard to get to that physique and through just being psychologically burnt out I let go of many of my habits.

My Chalean Extreme, and Insanity results (with Shakeology)

I was presented with the opportunity to do the Insanity Max 30 test group at the perfect time! I was lost as to what to do. I was tired of doing cardio because nothing was challenging me and everything was getting boring. I was lifting heavy, but for some reason there was a mental block and I was not pushing as hard as I should have been. I was not holding myself accountable to my eating plan, and I was seeing all of my definition and cuts go away! I am super thrilled and excited to be a part of this journey. This isn’t just a physical challenge, Id go as far as calling it a mental challenge. To get up, lace up and push myself through this hard core workout is all in my head. I know my body can do it, its my brain I am afraid of. After 3 months of intense cardio for 1 hour a day through last spring, I am a bit burnt out needless to say!

after Inanity and Chalean Extreme I went on to train in the gym and then started to prepare to compete.

I feel stronger than ever though! Mentally and physically. The eating plan that I am following is really keeping me full, energized and happy 🙂 No cutting carbs out, no cutting out any major food groups. No endless hours of cardio. Just 30 minutes a day, and my daily lifting! I have 5-6 months before my next competition season (when I step on stage again), so this will be a healthy gradual way to get toned, defined and leaned out. I am hoping to set the stage for a really calm and easy competition prep after doing my first round of Insanity Max 30!

Day 3: I am super sore. SUPER DUPER SORE! I maxed out at 12 Minutes. I have a leg day at the gym so I am a big nervous. Tomorrow I may need to take a long hot bath. Day 1 and Day 2 do not hold a candle to day 3!!! Day 3 was BRUTAL!!!

Remember to keep your house ventialted. Remember to hydrate! Insanity Max 30 aint no joke! You need the air flow so that you can breath through this extreme insane program!
